Health & Fitness: When to Slow Down

So, I have seen myself accomplish so much within this past month. I have overcome so many challenges and so many temptations that I really need to sit back and appreciate myself and be grateful for the strength that I have found throughout everything.

I have decided to allow myself to eat normal meals within reason for the next few days. I have two full days left here on vacation and I believe that I can sit back and enjoy a little bit. I deserve it. Enough of being that psycho diet police officer and it is time for me to sit back and enjoy myself a little.

Now today was a pretty good day. I got up and did my Power 90 as planned. Eat a healthy meal for breakfast and started the day off. We went to Todai for lunch. Todai is a Japanese buffet and is located a mile away from our hotel. We opted to walk to and from Todai's. It helps with the guilt that builds after eating such an indulgent meal. Well, I did decide to enjoy myself a little more for these next few days. So, there really was no guilt for me.

We walked back to the hotel and did some shopping along the way. We found some good deals at Macy's Waikiki. Some of which where not offered at the other three Macy's that we visited throughout our trip.

For dinner, we opted for Chili's. Wow, I did not realize how overly priced Chili's was. Granted, the food was good. Was it that good? No! Paying $15 - $30 per entree is just crazy. What are we really paying for? The embiance? The pomp? The name? I do not know, but Chili's is not the only resturant "chain" out there that is charging silly amounts of money for basic meals.

Anyway, enough of my blabbing. I ate an amazingly boring Grilled Chicken Burger at Chili's. It satisfied my stomach, but did not match the price. There I go again. I'll stop!
