Health and Fitness: Proud

Did good today! Even though it is the weekend. I'm so proud of that fact. I also worked out. I got to do my Power90 Sculpt 1-2 DVD. It feel great to do! I really enjoyed it.

Health and Fitness: A Change of Pace!

Today, I wanted to do my Power90 exercise, but found that time was a challenge and decided to join in on a Taebo T3 funk workout with my cousin Devana. It was interesting and quite fun actually. I enjoyed it, but I still would have rathered to do my my Power90. I ate healthy all day long! That was great!

Health and Fitness: Sore

I was a bit sore from my Power90 Sweat DVD yesterday. I took the day off from exercising, but enjoyed eating healthy all day long. It can be a challenge, but I definitely feel better as the days progress.

Health and Fitness: Struggling Through Power 90 Sweat

Another great day today. I ate healthy and exercised. I did my Power90 Sweat 1-2 DVD. I loved it! It brings back a lot of memories. It was quite challenging, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Health and Fitness: Our Diet Contract

Day 2...I forgot to mention the little motivational contract I entered into. My cousin, Devana, and I decided we needed some sort of motivation to help us focus harder on eating healthy and exercising more often.

We came up with this:

We each developed our own weekly goal for weight lose, exercise frequency, and eating healthy. Anyone that does not meet their weekly goal will have to walk/run up our highway. It's a series of many hills and is on an incline all the way. Not something either of us wants to do.

Well, today is day 2 and I did great. I ate healthy and exercised for the first time in a long time. I enjoyed it, but struggled a bit. That's to be expected, so I'm not too worried about that.

Health and Fitness: The Dreaded Day 1

Today is the first day of I do know know how many attempts at losing weight. It has been quite some time since I actually fulfilled a weight goal. Right now, my goal is nearly impossible. I'm asking myself to lose 3 pounds a week, which is actually very unhealthy. I don't expect to meet my goal. I would be happy to be under 180 by 5/4/09. 175 pounds would be perfect, but not required.

Today was a challenging day. I definitely had a lot to do: Meetings, appointments, webinars, phone conferences. I did not get a chance to exercise today, but I definitely ate healthy. That's a good start!
