So today is Day 1 and I’m so excited. I received an “assignment guide” that is basically a syllabus of the 14 days we are going to be spending with our wonderful mentor. I do not believe I mentioned her name in my blog yesterday. Lisa Torres is my mentor.
So I got onto the phone call today and for some reason my phone was not working! STRESS! I got cut off the phone call several times and had the most difficult time getting back on. It was so irritating. Lisa was nice enough to give me a call after the phone call today to check up on me. I told what had happened and mentioned that from the little bit that I heard, I enjoyed the phone call today. I’ll go and listen to it later today.
So we are beginning to set up our back office. There is a “Getting Started” 10 Step section that we need to go through and we have today and tomorrow to finish it. It looks fairly simple, but as I proceeded through the list, a lot of it is extremely mundane. I definitely feel the pressure building and blood boiling. I keep reminding myself that this is a “Marketing Boot Camp,” and a boot camp without pain is a farce.
I did not get very far down the list of 10 steps. Frustrating! It’s midnight and I am going to call it a night!
