Health & Fitness - Movin on Up

I enjoy the thought that Mondays are my Sculpting days. Power 90’s Sculpting is my favorite routine, hands down! To have my week start off with my favorite routine is a really AWESOME! Today was quite a day. I had some delays with the equipment that I normally use to watch my Power 90 Videos. It has become quite a ritual. Every morning I gather everything I need to get started. First is my laptop. I unplug it from its stationary position in my office, move it into our “gym.” Then I gather my cell phone (so I can listen to music to distract myself from the actual activity that I’m doing), which can sometimes get lost during this process. Next comes my Bluetooth headset (to connect to my cell phone), so I don’t have to worry about a damn wire tripping me or getting tangled as I workout. Then I gather my shoes and socks, which helps support my feet as I maneuver through each exercise. Finally, I grab my bottle of water and slip in several cubes of ice to cool the room temperature water to something a little more refreshing. When I complete my workout, everything gets returned to their designated spots, which helps me remember where everything is.

So, today is day 30! I can’t believe it! I made it through a full month and I am nowhere near wanting to quit or slow down. The closer I get to my goal, the more excited I feel. I can see some measurable differences in my body. Not only that, I can feel the differences in the clothes I wear. Some of my shorts that I wore would happily unbutton as I sat down. Now, I am actually pulling up that same pair of shorts, it does not fit anymore. It is too big! That in itself is a huge motivation for me.

Oh, I forgot to mention that I have gone from utilizing a 10 lb weight to now using a 20 lb weight! I'm so excited about that! Just thought I'd share!
